Since updating to WP 2.7.1 today, AJAXed Wordpress no longer functions properly. When I click on the link to expand the post inline, it hangs and can't load any data. If I press the link again, it turns into "undefined.

I'm trying to use AJAXed but I can't even save my settings, he just ignores every change I make. Also the administration panel has serious bugs with the navigation on top and etc.
Is there a fix in site? I think I'll downgrade in the meantime.

Even with the previous version it still doesn't work for me, I can't save any of the settings, can't even change the throbber style, it all reverts back to basic settings.

I'm guessing that the reason why AJAXed WordPress stopped working, has to do with some changes in the database structures in WP 2.7.1... if it is so, once you've performed the upgrade (thus updating the database?), the changes are probably not reversible.
It's a total wild stab in the dark though. I don't really know what's happening behind the scenes at all.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Normally the minor upgrades don't cause issues, so normally they don't require any testing.
I'll take a look at this as soon as possible and hopefully have a fix within a few days.

After running a few tests, AWP seems to be working fine. Exactly what features are causing errors, what theme are you using etc.
There are also three other possibilities:
1) Another plugin is interfering with AWP.
2) A file or two was corrupted when uploading the upgraded wordpress.
3) Your browser's cache just needs to be cleared.
Would you both try clearing your browser cache and then checking if the other two options are causing problems?
MACC, I just tested your website and navigating to the previous page of posts seems to be working perfectly, and the throbber is not the default. Check to make sure that you are not saving the settings as "test" settings.

I am using itheme's FlexxTheme with WP 2.7.
The Comment functionality is not working at all. Its still using the theme's comment form.
I've activated and deactivated the Use Default Comment Form module and it does not change anything. Same for threated comments.
Im still new to all this. Any ideas?

Can you take a look at my website:
http://pixelpushingmonkey.com/blog
When you click on any of the "Click to continue reading..." links, it just gives me the throbber, nothing loads... taking forever. It did not used to behave this way before WP 2.7.1
I've tried your suggestion, cleared browser cache, re-uploaded all the files to my server to make sure there are no file corruption when I upgraded WordPress. Disabled all the addons and leaving only akismet & Ajaxed WP running. Still the same problem.

There seems to be an error in the AJAX response that you may want to take a look at:
Warning: htmlspecialchars_decode() expects parameter 1 to be string, NULL given in /home2
/pixelpu1/public_html/blog/wp-includes/compat.php on line 105

I really have no idea what that's about... all I can do for now is reverting back to WP 2.7, which seems to have fixed the problem.

Not sure what broke things. I had it working for both MORE and COMMENTS. Upgraded to 2.7.1 and MORE stopped working, but COMMENTS worked fine. Tried turning off other plugins, emptying cache etc. Just went back to 2.7, didn't work for me. Oh well, will hope that future upgrades of WP and AWP get to it.......

plugin does not work with 2.7.1, the links for inline posts appear, but using the default javascript links just go to the post, and do not use any effects, or using mootools or any other library, the links just hang...is there a work around/fix for this? this is my site: http://www.jameselkins.com/jameselkins/
thank you,
