hi,
i was able to resolve the javascript conflict in IE but the issue with the pagination stil exists. On posts that have fewer than 3 pages, you can not read the entire article.
under POSTS & PAGES, i have the following...
Inline Posts is enabled
By word count (with full sentences).
Show words or paragraphs. 40
Strip excerpt - is checked but the excerpt it not stripped when you click on page 1
Hide Default Excerpt is checked.
Treat code, bloquotes and pre blocks as single words? <=== this just doesn't work. check it, save it, the check dissappears.
Move pages so the first page (the normal excerpt) is empty is checked. Have no clue what this does but it's checked.
Inline Paginated Posts is enabled
Each page after the excerpt should be 400 words or paragraphs (based on the split mode) long.
The problem occurs when a post has 440 words or less. The pagination links do not show. It's 440 because the first 40+ words with full sentences is page 1. Page 2 is 400 words. So technically, every post I have will need to be at least 500 words or so to insure I get proper Inline Pagination.
so for a post of say 300 words, right now you see - Click to continue reading "title of post" - link
When you click the link, it returns you to page 1. So it's impossible to read the entire article.
So whatever your settings happen to be for the pagination limits, every post must have enough words in it to be split into at least 3 pages otherwise, you won't be able to read the entire article.
Finally, Embedded Post and Paginated Pages options are both enabled.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
