i'm pretty new to programming in general (and i'm not looking for a change of career, so please bear with me and pardon my nooby approach).
i discovered wordpress less than 1 week ago and, after reading a few things about it, i set out to build a website. i'm pretty pleased with the result and it's much more than i hoped for. (http://www.acub.ro)
i was wondering if there's a full list of commands (i mean syntax, or parameters to give to the commands) regarding awp.
for example, i want to list in my 'work' page the excerpts of my subpages, wich i understand it's done by wordpress style 'mychildren' command.
problem is i want to have a 'mychildren' in immediate subpages, too (architecture and graphics), so i'll see duplicates when i load the pages in 'work'. Is there a way to give a parameter like 'depth=1' to 'mychildren' command?
The second question would be about if there's a way (the will is there 
), having page excerpts enabled, to show the excerpt of the subpages instead of just the titles.
I thank you for everything you do and I really think you're great for making everything it so accesible for folks like me, who didn't dare get close to what one would call webdesign till not long ago.
