Hey. First I would like to deeply thank you for the obviously great effort you put into developing aWp and offer it for free. That is very noble indeed.
Here is my problem :
Most AWP modules are giving me this error when I try to activate them:
The module you attempted to activate has an error in it and could not be activated.
And anytime I try to change the settings, I get the following error at the top of the wp-admin page above the toolbar:
Warning: fopen(/Library/WebServer/Documents/sonyalynn.com/wp-content/plugins/ajaxd-wordpress/modules/core_cache/core.cache.js) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /Library/WebServer/Documents/sonyalynn.com/wp-content/plugins/ajaxd-wordpress/modules/core_cache/core_cache.php on line 58
Warning: fopen(/Library/WebServer/Documents/sonyalynn.com/wp-content/plugins/ajaxd-wordpress/modules/core_cache/core.cache.css) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /Library/WebServer/Documents/sonyalynn.com/wp-content/plugins/ajaxd-wordpress/modules/core_cache/core_cache.php on line 79
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /Library/WebServer/Documents/sonyalynn.com/wp-content/plugins/ajaxd-wordpress/modules/core_cache/core_cache.php:58) in /Library/WebServer/Documents/sonyalynn.com/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 850
I get the exact same error messages !!!
I ensured that the core_cache.php starts <div class="sfcode">< ?php</div> with and ends with <div class="sfcode">?></div> as the wordpress.org faq documentation suggests, but it is still the same ..
Furthermore, the democracy poll plugin which used to load the results of the poll in the sidebar widget itself, inline without reloading the blog page, Now after installing ajaxed WP reloads the page everytime a visitor votes or clicks the “show poll results” link, which was done inline..
Whats wrong here ?
Thank U

Now, I only recieve the previous mentioned error messages when I try to edit options (for instance, the comments text).
But when I try to activate a module, I get :
The module you attempted to activate has an error in it and could not be activated
I tried to disable the core cashe.. which lead to the same error, but then I returned to the page and found that the error messages appear but the operation (the change) is actually made ...
So the core cashe is now disabled, but even that didnt solve the problem

Btw, I can see that the system of aWP is active ( I see the loading animation when visiting a post for instance), but when it comes to actually viewing the post, it refreshes the page and moves to the post, not inline (which is useless)..
Also I dont understand why my adsense ads stopped showing up .. do they conflict with aWP ?

I also got those errors every time I did a change in awp configuration, so I just delete cache after every change. I assume you have WP Super Cache. I’ve seen no issues after doing that.
Dont know about your AdSense issue (try clearing your browser cache, it might just be that).

thande bro .. I indeed use WP super cashe .. but I didnt understand what you meant by "delete the cashe"
As I already said, the ajax system seems to be loading fine, except that it actually does not !
pages load like normal, not inline
btw, I didnt notice any change afer installing super cashe .. did I misconfigure it or maybe expect too much from it ?
will I lose anything if I uninstall it ?
Thanx

In Admin area, if you mouseover, at the top, where it says "New Post" you'll see an option that says "Delete Cache". Just clicking on that will clear your wp super cache, and it will start recreating a new one.

I did that. First it told me the file advanced-cashe.php is not available.. and I should copy it from the super cashe plugin’s folder. I did that and again tried to clear the cashe, and now I get :
Error: Configuration file missing and /home/i3tesam/public_html/iceq/blog/wp-content directory (/home/i3tesam/public_html/iceq/blog/wp-content) is not writable by the Web server.Check its permissions.Cannot continue… fix previous problems and retry.
I set the permissions of wp-content to 775, but I still get the same message. Could U please also answer my previous question :
btw, I didnt notice any change afer installing super cashe .. did I misconfigure it or maybe expect too much from it ?
will I lose anything if I uninstall it ?
AND WOULD THE CREATOR OF THE PLUGIN PLEASE RESPOND TO ME ?? NOT ONLY THE PLUGIN DOESNT WORK PROPERLY, IT EVEN CAUSED OTHER PLUGINS NOT TO WORK !
Thanx !

no offense, I suggest this website owner close this support forum which actually brings disappointment instead of support..
if U cant give support why bother and open a support forum ? I mean no disrespect at all , but I would personally prefer simply giving up on having a hope in a support forum which leads to disappointment ...
Thanx

I absolutely agree to that and highly appreciate the effort I put into making the plugin and offering it for free. Yet I honestly say, and I mean no offence at all (reallY), If I were U I would simply close this support forum if you ar eunable to cope with the visitors' questions.. when U have time in the future U might consider re-opening it if U will.
Or, U can simply add to the "new topic" window a clear notice that states that you come here seldom and that replying to the users' topics might take X days depending on ur availability..
This leaves no room for embarassment, either for U or the visitors
Thanx
