WP 2.7.1 and AJAXED WP 1.25.2.  http://www.binaryabstractions.org/


I am only interested in having the comments load inline, sliding up and down and initially hidden.

JQuery is enabled and JQuery specific features set to slide comments up and down.

I am using both IE and FF to test this and Firebug to inspect the elements.


Any ideas where I should poke around?  I followed the install instructions, activated the module, and set the options.

Adding inline comments requires a few theme edits. Did you perform the edits listed in the readme?

Hello,

I have a same kind question. Either I don't understand the inline story, or I can't find what I did wrong. The functionality I am looking for should be almost the same as http://singpolyma.net/blog/ (although this is blogger)

So a the main page is opened. Someone adds a comment and everythin on the mainpage stays open.

I read the readme file several times. But as far as I can see I did what was asked.

Please help me...

Make sure you added <?php do_action('awp_comments'); ?> and <?php do_action('awp_comments_link');?> and <?php do_action('awp_commentform');?> to your theme's index.php file inside the loop. It looks like you only added <?php do_action('awp_commentform_link');?>.

Just add <?php do_action('awp_comments_link');?> where the current comments link is in the files and then add the other two somewhere right below them in the theme -- you can move them around to make the comments appear where you want.
