  1. Open the aWP Admin Panel (it is listed under the Design tab)
  2. Ensure “Inline Posts” module is active, and activate it if it isn’t.
  3. Go to the posts tab.
  4. Ensure that Inline Posts are enabled
  5. Check the option that says “Use Simple Posts”.
  6. Click the save button at the bottom of the Admin Panel.

There is also a special AWP-only function to show the post. It only works in loops, but its use is heavily discouraged.
do_action('awp_post');

I just loaded up the new version. I'm glad to see you're still working on this, as every website needs to be Ajaxed - way past time to lose the ol' "rabbit hole" navigation.

Charles and all, I think the Inline Posts feature makes the post roll down and display in the same page when you click the More link. My own posts are set to "show all" so I don't get a More link, therefore inline posts don't do much for me yet. But just having Ajax enabled will let me remove most of the "travel" from my site for my readers, and that's going to be a beautiful thing.

Thanks again for keeping this going Aaron!

Okay here are a few usage examples to help make the different features more apparent. (This assumes you have already enabled Inline Posts) All options described blow can be found on the "Posts & Pages" tab.

Recreating WordPress default behavior.

Following these instructions will only split a post on a tag, as WordPress does by default.

Select the option to create excerpts "Only on more or nextpage tags."

Change the Show and Hide texts to whatever you like.

Recreating WordPress default excerpt behavior.

Following these instructions will duplicate the normal WordPress excerpt.

Select the option to create excerpts "By word count (exact word count)."

Right below these options, in the textbox set it to 55 to split the excerpt to exactly 55 words.

You can also select the option to "Strip HTML in preview" like WordPress does normally for excerpts.

Other variations include using full sentences instead of an exact word count or splitting by paragraphs instead of words.
