If you have pagination turned on, you may “name” each page by adding a tag like <!--title=Some Shiny Title--> anywhere inside each “page.” This is most easily used in combination with a <!--more--> tag type split; however it will work when posts are “paged” by word or paragraph count.

Can you give an example of how to use this? It's not working for me. I've tried it in a post, before and after the "more" link. I'm trying to use it to change the %title in the more/hide link.
Are there settings that might conflict?

Make sure you are doing it in the html editor not the visual editor. The code should change the entire text of the more link not part of it. If you want all of the links to change, just change the show/hide text in the admin panel.
