On Tofurious the theme author hacked AWP into the theme so a lot of the options don't work properly. This is not an error with AWP.

I've been mulling over the same issue that Heather has posted about. Using Tofurious2 with Ajax 1.27. The comments are working, saving, displaying correctly. I've just been asked for them to be hidden by default. Thanks in advance for any tips!

I've tried a bunch of different things (including unchecking the boxes that say to have comments open on posts/pages) and my comments still are open by default. Is there a trick to getting them to be closed?
